FIELD: thermal power engineering. SUBSTANCE: platen superheater coils located in regions of maximum gas flow temperature are protected by heat-insulating coating. For the purpose use is made of chromite or chrome-magnesium compound. Prior to coating, wire is wound on outer surfaces of platen superheater coils. Coil portion ribbed in this way is covered with compound. EFFECT: improved protection of platen superheaters against high temperatures. 4 dwg
