FIELD: dust collecting appliances. SUBSTANCE: liquid filter of vacuum cleaner has detachable casing installed on cleaner housing which accommodates liquid-filled chamber providing coarse cleaning of air. Chamber has contaminated air inlet connection and outlet connection along which air, after coarse cleaning, is delivered into fine cleaning chamber. Cleaned air outlet connection is arranged along vertical center-line of housing. Coarse cleaning chamber is cylinder embracing cleaned air outlet connection. Fine cleaning chamber is made in form of circular chute installed coaxially with coarse cleaning chamber and provided with circular partition dividing chute space into two compartments. Chamber has additional connection. Contaminated air inlet connection is bent towards bottom of coarse cleaning chamber and is arranged tangentially relative to chamber wall; cleaned air outlet connection is connected with additional connection and is arranged on one vertical axis with the latter, forming outlet channel. Coarse cleaning chamber communicates with fine cleaning chamber through hole made in inner wall of chute, outlet channel being arranged in hole with clearance relative to walls of hole.
