FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: localization is determined of external acoustic meatus points. The patient is subjected to the action of a sound stimulus and then of a vestibular one with subsequent recording of the electric values of detected points. In accordance with the values the point condition is qualified as either normal or inhibited or excited, the cochleovestibular system condition is assessed, and adequate choice of treatment points is made. EFFECT: higher accuracy of point detection in patients with cochleovestibular system pathology.
