FIELD: discharging liquids from wells. SUBSTANCE: pumping unit consists of centrifugal pump 1 and electric motor 2 connected by means of central cylindrical rod 3. Electric motor 2 has stator 14 and rotor 16 which is mounted immovably on hollow bush 17 connected with impellers 7. Rotor 16 with bush 17 and impellers 7 are mounted rotatably for axial displacement along axis of central rod 3 and are held from turn relative to one another by means of clutch members, for example, cams 28 provided on ends of hubs 29 of impellers 7 and on lower end of bush 17 of rotor 16. During rotation of rotor 16 and impellers 7 in their bearings and hubs respectively on common fixed rod 3, run-out of rotor 16 and impellers 7 relative to the axis of unit as well as their mutual effect on each other are practically excluded.
