FIELD: pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: pump sections and sections of a submerged electric motor provided with a hydraulic protection are interconnected in series trough flanges. A groove is made in the bottom flange of the top section. The top part of the locking plank with stop screw is mounted within the groove for permitting movement. The bottom flange of each top section has a shank which consists of two centering collars with sealing members. Cams, which are made up as segments, are interposed between the members. The shank also has stops made up as pins arranged above the cams. Two centering bores are made in the top flange of each bottom section. The stop collar is interposed between them. Grooves are made in the collar. The grooves provide axial displacement of the cams of the top section and their rotation above the stop collar. Locking groove is made on the outer surface of the flange. The grove sizes correspond to the sizes of the bottom part of the plank arranged in the locking groove. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 dwg
