FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: blood sample is taken from bronchial asthma and urticaria patients, mixed with heparin, and placed into two test tubes. 2% analginum solution is added to the first tube and 0.9% sodium chloride solution - to the second. The mixtures are incubated during an hour at 37 deg C and centrifuged. The sediment in both tubes is lysed and the contents of potassium ions and calcium ions is determined in the lysate. The relation of the calcium contents in the first tube with that in the second and the potassium contents accordingly are calculated. The relation of the first value to the second one is determined. If the value of this relation is 2 or more, the individual sensitivity of the patients to nonsteroid antiinflammatory preparations is qualified as intolerance of these preparations. EFFECT: simplification and higher economy of the method.
