FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: electrokinetic angular acceleration sensor has housing filled with working liquid 2, porous partition 3, electrodes 4, holder 5. Components 3, 4, 5 are combined into a modular construction using holder 5 in the construction of sensor. Upon mechanical action (rotating the sensor about its axis) working liquid 1 begins circulating, e. g. clock-wise, through porous partition 3. The liquid flowing through the porous partition, a potential difference across electrodes 4 occurs as a result of electrokinetic phenomena. If rotation direction of the sensor is changed, the liquid flow direction is changed for opposite one as well resulting in change in the sense of charges on the electrodes. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy. 4 dwg
