FIELD: computer technology. SUBSTANCE: two-pole pulse is formed, which has preset shape and duration by means of introducing the second controlling switch 5, the second power accumulator 7, smoothing diode 3, sync generator 15 and commutation unit 8. Solenoid is used as a load. When nth positive impulse with formed shaped and preset duration passes through thyristor 29, primary winding of isolation transformer 10, thyristor 32 to commutation unit, the positive polarity impulse is formed onto output terminals 11. When 2 nth (where n= 1,2,3. . .) enters commutation unit through thyristor 32, primary winding of isolation transformer 10, thyristor 30, the pulse with reverse polarity is formed on terminals 11. As a result two-pole pulses with preset shapes and durations are formed in load. EFFECT: widened functional capabilities; improved precision of modelling of impulse noise. 2 cl, 2 dwg
