FIELD: physics. SUBSTANCE: optical system of energy pick off in pulse-periodic laser is made in the form of resonator which optical axis is perpendicular to flux. Resonator is positioned upstream of multipass amplifier. Radiation generated in resonator comes to input of amplifier and number of passes of beam in amplifier is sufficiency for effective energy pick off from working transition of active medium and its saturation. Value of losses of resonator is so chosen that when it is filled with active medium saturated in amplifier it leads to suppression of oscillation. EFFECT: improved authenticity of achievement of automodulation mode of operation. 1 dwg
