SUBSTANCE: water cleaning filter has a casing with a cover and bottom, floating filter media, distributor, draining system and a device for recovery in the form of a cylindrical shell with a branch-pipe for discharge of rinsing water connected to the bottom, the branch-pipe diameter makes up 0.12 to 0.25 of the shell diameter; the upper part of the shell is provided with a cone, the angle at the vertex being within 90 to 120°; evenly spaced rectangular holes are made on the shell surface, the distance from the casing bottom being within 0.45 to 0.70 of the shell height, the length of the holes is within 0.18 to 0.32 of the shell diameter and equals 1 to 1.4 of their height, with the total area of the holes being within 0.23 to 0.51 of the area of shell side surface.
