Abstract RU 2019316 C1

FIELD: separation of metal-abrasive waste at ore-concentration complexes, agglomeration plants, ferrous alloy, coke and blast-furnace shops of mining industry. SUBSTANCE: feedstock is delivered into horizontally reciprocating hopper 2 with feeder 14. The latter is arranged in a spaced relation to rear wall of hopper 2, the gap between them being adjusted by gate 17. Feeder 14 consists of a block of horizontal plates with serrated working edge. Each underlying plate protrudes beyond the overlying one. Amount of material is regulated by gate valve 21. Feeder 14 delivers the material uniformly onto vibrating overflow deck 3 where it laminates into layers and falls down. The particles of feedstock are acted upon by a narrow air jet discharged from slotted nozzle 4 formed by plates 5 and 6. Lip 7 secured to plate 6 builds up the requisite gradient of flow speed rate. Lower plate 6 is articulated for adjusting the size of nozzle slot. Nozzles 4 and decks 3 are provided with rods 23 and with hollow rod 25 connected with the mechanism for adjusting relative positions of decks and nozzles between one another and between the separation stages. Under the effect of the air jet discharged from the nozzle the light particles change their trajectory considerably and fall into hopper 9; the heavier particles fall onto the second separation stage where separation of siftings is repeated and the quality product falls into hopper 10. The mechanism for adjusting position of decks and nozzles comprises articulated frame 26 carrying hollow rods 25 fixed in drive links. Bracket 31 with handle 30 used for moving the nozzles is mounted on trolleys. EFFECT: improved functional and operating characteristics. 6 cl, 3 dwg
