FIELD: equipment for producing mails. SUBSTANCE: automatic machine has common longitudinal base to which are secured parallel planks in perpendicular relation with respect to this base. Casing is rigidly secured in one plank. Casing has radial openings, where holders are mounted in spaced relation one with respect to the other. Dies are fixed on one ends of two holders and shears are fixed on other ends of these holders. Other ends of these two holders are made beveled and positioned for engagement with conical inner surfaces of case, which is positioned in plank openings in spaced relation with respect to walls case is connected with ejectors, which are in contact with cams. Punch is coupled through bar with ejector, which is in contact with intermediate cam. All cams are rigidly secured on one common shaft extending parallel to planks. Billet feed carriage is driven by punch cam through lever-bar-pivot connection. As shaft rotates, cams urge case for reciprocation. As a result case provides bringing together and separation of die and knife holders by its conical inner surfaces. Intermediate cam releases ejector and bar-punch delivers a blow by the action of springs onto billet end to form nail head. EFFECT: increased capacity and enhanced reliability in operation. 17 cl, 8 dwg
