METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF TWISTED WIRE NETTING AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for production of twisted hexahedral wire netting; designing and manufacture of machines for production of wire netting with haxahedral cells and mutually twisted wires. SUBSTANCE: method for production of twisted wire netting consists in that wires from one bundles are rotated round the other bundles with their periodic changing from one bundles to adjacent ones and then they are twisted. The invention offers two types of the machines for embodiment of the method. In both machines wire unwinding units are made in form devices for unwinding wire from bundles, one half of which is located on one plate, and the other half, on the other plate. Plate located between the first plate and twisting mechanism has holes in which driving motors are installed. Bundles are installed in rotors on special unwinding devices. Rotors from one side are cutoff. In these cutoffs, wires from unwinding devices of the first plate pass. Twisting mechanism is made in form of two strips provided with drive of their counter reciprocations. Strips have holes cutoff from one end. Cutoffs of these two strips are opposite to each other. Installed in holes are driving bushing which are also cut off from one side. Attached to the other side are pipes to pass wires. Rotors rotate in synchronism with rotation of bushings and wires are transferred by transfer mechanism from one rotors to the others also in synchronism with strip transfer in twisting mechanism.
