FIELD: furniture industry. SUBSTANCE: a polymeric dispersion is prepared. It comprises a liquid dispersion medium capable of crystallization and a dispersed phase. The dispersion is frozen in the presence of curing in two steps. In the first step the dispersion is frozen from minus 2 to minus 12 C for 5-15 min followed by molding; in the second step the dispersion is frozen from minus 8 to minus 70 C for 0.5-6.0 hr. The dispersed phase comprises a synthetic latex polymer and 25-100 wt parts of a collagen-containing material per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer. The dispersion comprises 3-10 wt parts of the curing agents per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer. The dispersion comprises 3-10 wt parts of the curing agents per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer. The dispersion uses zinc oxide, sulfur, ethyl zimate, zinc mercaptobensthiazolate, diphenyl guanidine and phenyl-β naphthylamine. The dispersion may comprise the following components (wt): 3.5 chrome-plates collagen chips; 4.9 latex; 0.18 zinc oxide; 0.09 sulfur; 0.04 ethyl zimate; 0.04 mercaptobenzthiazolate; 0.05 diphenyl guanidine; 0.02 phenyl-b-naphthylamine; and water, the balance. The dispersion may further comprise a 0.5-3.5 wt parts of carboxymethyl cellulose per 100 wt parts of the polymer. A porous polymer material is made of a cryostructured dispersion of a butadiene-styrene or carboxylated bytadiene-styrene latex polymer and 25-100 wt parts of the collagen-containing material per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer. The polymer material has an apparent density of 0,12-0,21 g/cm3 and may comprise 50 wt parts of the collagen component per 100 wt parts of the butadiene-styrene latex having 30 wt styrene links. The polymeric material may comprise 65 wt parts of the collagen component per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer having 1 wt carboxyl links and 50 wt styrene links. The polymeric material comprises 71 wt parts of the collagen component per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer having 30 wt styrene links. The characteristics of the polymeric material: it has a butadiene-styrene latex having 30 wt styrene links and comprises 60 wt parts of the collagen component per 100 wt parts of the latex polymer; the apparent density 0,18 g/cm3; the ultimate breaking strength 0,45 kgf/cm2.
