FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: belt transmission has driving 1 and driven 2 non-round pulleys, infinite belt 3 and tightening unit 4 made of two fixed rollers 5,6 and movable rollers 7,8 arranged oppositely. Driven pulley 2 is round and consists of hub 9 and rim 10. Hub 9 is made of a slide received within slot 11 of rim 10. Contacting opposite surfaces of the slot of rim 10 and hub 9 are provided with grooves 12,13 wherein bodies of rotation are received. Hub 9 is mated with one ends 15 of springs 16 from both sides. The springs are mated with bolts 18 by other ends. The bolts form screw pairs with rim 10. EFFECT: expanded capabilities. 2 dwg
