FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: contact electric resistance between rings of bearing and rotation frequency of shaft are used as parameters of bearing to be measured. Before measurements shaft with bearing is mounted onto calibration stand. The bearing is effected by calibration load and calibration characteristics are measured when changing calibration load according to specific functional dependence. After that shaft with bearing is mounted onto machine to be tested and working mode is set. Working frequency of shaft rotation and contact electric resistance between rings of bearing of shaft to be induced are measured. Value of acting load is determined from calibration relations; radial force, which acts on shaft is judged from specific analytical relation. Contact electric resistance is measured by controlling output voltage in secondary circuit of piezoelectric transformer, when rings are connected to the transformer and when value of piezoelectric voltage changes depending on electric parameters of bearing to be loaded.
