FIELD: electric measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: three exponentially dropping voltages are formed. To determine geometric mean, the third exponentially dropping voltage is formed with time constant time, when the first exponentially dropping voltage with time constant τ is equal to the second larger voltage to be measured. Value of the third voltage is fixed, when the first exponentially dropping voltage is equal to the lesser exponentially dropping voltage. Device has two exponentially dropping voltage sources 1 and 2, null detectors 3 and 4, switch 5, the larger and the lesser voltages to be measured sources 6 and 7, the third exponentially dropping voltage source 8, switch 9, trigger 10, "start" input 11 and out[uts 12 and 13.
