FIELD: storage of farm produce, particularly potatoes. SUBSTANCE: storage comprises hoppers for products, hoppers for waste and nongraded products, devices for receiving, sorting and dispensing of potatoes, transport means in the form of loading and unloading conveyors, waste conveyors, and load transfer means. Potato-receiving device comprises telescopic receiving hoppers with mechanisms for relative movement of their sections and control members, guides, telescopic panels secured above the receiving hoppers. The transfer means comprise overhead-track hoists with grips for lifting the telescopic hoppers. Storing hoppers are arranged in rows with tracked passageway in between. Telescopic hoppers are installed on power-operated trolleys moving over rails in transport passageway. Some auxiliary conveyors are installed between hoppers and sorting device so that unloading end of conveyor can be positioned above different hoppers. The conveyor mounted on overhead-track hoist has mechanisms for vertical motion and automatic adjustment of optimum potato falling height. It can be unloaded at intermediate points and is arranged above telescopic hoppers. Unloading conveyor of folding construction has a propelling mechanism and is positioned on transport passageway. EFFECT: improved design. 9 dwg
