FIELD: working or processing of wire. SUBSTANCE: device has changeable unit with assembles of 'screw-cutter' arranged in line with a step which is equal to twice step of a network and mounted on support together with a mechanism for counting turns. The support is coupled with a mechanism for step reciprocation of a mechanism for shaping spirals. Shaping a fragment of the network is performed in a guide made of infinite belt whose outer surface is provided with rows of guide combs which are shaped so that they are guides for spirals which are interweaved in spirals arranged over the screw lines. A stop is provided at the end of each row. The guide is set on pulleys of a mechanism for displacing prepared fragment of the network which moves the prepared fragment of the network to such position that last spiral of the next fragment of the network is interweaved in the first spiral of the previous one.
