FIELD: wire manufacturing. SUBSTANCE: shaping mechanism having auger and blade placed within it forms spiral of round cross section. Rotating spiral continuously gets off the blade and being guided is interweaved into ready made gauze section for a given length. First of all initial spaces of spiral are formed on initial stage of gauze section making. Space between spirals is equal to two steps of gauze. Gauze step length is equal to the sum of blade length, body hole of spiral and free space of spiral with the length of 4-10 spiral steps. After that formation of these spirals stops and formation of n or n + 1 spirals starts. These spirals are displaced from previous ones to one gauze step and have inclined initial space. Then n formation of first spirals is continued until they interweave to the total length of free spaces of other n spirals and form 4-10 steps free spaces of spiral. This cycle repeats until at the final stage of gauze netting n of first spirals are formed to the total gauze width and gauze section is ready. Then this section is cut off and displaced to position enabling the first spiral of ready made section interweave with the last spiral of forming section to form a continuous gauze band. Device for gauze netting has processing directed bed mounted support with wire rolls, coil counting mechanism, spiral forming mechanism turning on blade and auger, spiral cutting mechanism, table, mechanism displacing ready made gauze section, guide. Spiral forming mechanism has a removable body with two rows of auger-blade blocks over n. Blocks are displaced against each other to a gauze step. Step of each block in a row is equal to two gauze steps. Blocks of one row are placed at an angle to blocks of another row and the angle degree is minimal due to a given position of blocks. Each block is joint to the body outlet where spiral gets off. Outlet has inclined space gradually passing into horizontal one. Outlet horizontal space forms surface rounding gauze section in formation with a light margin. Each blade at its end has a worm wheel placed at the wire entrance side. Worm wheels of each row are engaged with their worms. Worm gear reducer and drive set worms in rotation. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 13 dwg
