FIELD: bicycle manufacture. SUBSTANCE: brake bushing comprises body 1, fixed axle 2, screw-type overrunning clutch consisting of worm 3 and connecting cone 4 interconnected by motion thread. Outer conical surface 5 of said cone 4 matches with internal conical surface 6 of driving cone 7 which is connected immovably with body 1. A braking device comprises stationary cone 9 rigidly connected with brake lever 8, and interacting friction members made of brake case 10 rigidly connected with body 1, said case 10 having internal conical surface 11, stationary cone 9 installed on extension, axially movable brake cone 12 provided with external conical surface 14 which is capable of interacting with internal conical surface 11 of brake case 10. The end of brake cone 12 facing the connecting cone 4 has end splines 15 for engaging the splines 16 of connecting cone 4. Brake bushing comprises braking device in the form of connecting cone 4 and stationary friction discs 18 mounted on axle 2 and locked against rotation by internal projections entering longitudinal slot 20 on axle 2, and movable friction discs 21 installed between each pair of stationary discs and interacting with cone 4 with a provision for being jointly rotated therewith by means of external projections entering slots 23 of cone 4. The last stationary disc 18 at the side of connecting cone 4 can interact with the end of worm 3. Installed at the side of the other stationary end disc 18 in internal spaces 17 and 24 of connecting and brake cones is flexible member 25 whose ends bear against stationary disc 18 and against limiting washer 22 installed in internal space 24 of brake cone 12 in spaced relation to the end surface 26 of said space.
