FIELD: plastic working of metals. SUBSTANCE: automatic apparatus has casing with billet clamping device, deforming tool with holder, tool rotation mechanism and radial feeding device. Casing is mounted on apparatus base on guides for movement in vertical plane and is provided with power pressure drive. Clamping device has two brackets mounted on guides for movement in vertical plane. Central retainers for billets are positioned in brackets for rotation and movement in horizontal plane. Retainers are connected with holders mounted in brackets for displacement in horizontal plane and blocked against rotation. Holders are provided with rollers engaged with following members secured in casing and spring-biased relative to brackets. Guides have stops for limiting motion of clamping device brackets downward. Deforming tool has a set of profiling disks mounted on holders above billets to be worked. Holder is made in the form of spindle mounted for rotation together with disks in bracket, which is fixed on base. Radial feeding device is formed as drum for supporting billets. Drum is mounted in casing below billets for displacement with casing. Apparatus has automatic billet feeder with base-mounted bin and billet feeding/ cut plate. Bin has lower outlet opening. Feeding/cut plate is positioned for horizontal reciprocating motion and kinematically connected with rotary agitator mounted in bin. Billet feeding/cut plate is provided with billet receiving slot. Billet feeding/cut plate has pivotally secured front wall with return spring. Front wall pivots downward during return stroke of billet feeding/cut plate. Worked billet withdrawal device positioned at the side of rotating supporting drum opposite to bin is made in the form of inclined discharging chute mounted for limited rotation downward with respect to its inlet side under gravitational force and for rotation upward under the action of supporting drum. EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating manual labor and automation of billet working process. 3 cl, 7 dwg
