WAVE POWER HYDROELECTRIC STATION Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2020264 C1

FIELD: hydraulic power engineering. SUBSTANCE: wave-power hydroelectric station has wave energy converter made in form of two electric generators with drive pulleys and flexible coupling embracing them. Flexible coupling is anchored in succession and is provided with tensioner. Hydroelectric station is provided by at least two additional wave energy converters and supports secured on the bottom. By at least two electric generators of converters are secured to supports under level of water. Tensioners are made in form of springs and winches. Springs are included in each flexible coupling between anchor and electric generators. Winches are evenly located over the perimeter of pontoon and are connected with upper ends of flexible couplings. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
