FIELD: pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: casing is made of two hemispheres 1,2 coupled with a weld. One of the hemispheres has suction branch pipe arranged radially. The other hemisphere has delivery branch pipe and flange 3 positioned along the axis of the suction branch pipe and coupled with it by welding. Plane of symmetry of the weld is inclined to axis of the suction branch pipe. The branch pipes is made in block with spherical part of the casing. A distance between the welds is at least twice width of spherical part. Hemispherical blanks is stamped in block with the branch pipes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
