FIELD: transport lighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: headlight comprises condensing lens 14 made in the form of an aplanatic meniscus in the single-mode transport headlights comprising ellipsoid reflector 2 with filament 5 of light source 6 disposed in one of its focal points 7; it also has opto-fibrous converter 8 whose input end 9 is of a round cross section and is arranged coaxially with reflector 2 in the focal plane 4 passing through the second focus 10 while its output end 11 is a mirror image of the light-distribution boundaries created by the headlight, and disposed in the focal plane 12 of lens-type light diffuser 13. Lens 14 is mounted coaxially with reflector 2 and input end 9 of opto-fibrous converter 8 in the path of rays between reflector 2, before said input end 9. EFFECT: illuminating characteristics of headlight improved by the use of ellipsoid reflector with maximum angle of coverage. 1 dwg
