FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of dynamic correction of headlight beam at cornering includes forming of beam corresponding to mode of illumination by its concentration at input of fiber optical image converter, transformation of image at output of fiber-optical image converter into configuration mirror-like to light distribution created by headlight, and projection of image formed at output of fiber optical converter on plane of roadbed, and also obtaining information on character of motion of vehicle, processing of said information and forming control signal at input of operating mechanism, processing of control signal by operating mechanism by turning fiber-optical image converter to stabilize position of light beam at tilting of vehicle in process of cornering corresponding to mode of illumination relative to plane of roadbed, said fiber optical converter being turned around optical axis of headlight. Device contains drive with control unit made in form of step motor on shaft of which sheave with cam is installed, and motorcycle position pickup relative to plane of roadbed is provided. Holders-heaves of each converter are rigidly coupled through drive sheave with each other by two elastic tapes, one end of which being rigidly fixed on drive sheave and other ends are connected to each other by tensioner. Sheave is coupled with housing through elastic element. Holders with fitted in condenser lenses are installed for turning relative to housing around drive axle.
EFFECT: provision of correction of position of headlight beams of motorcycles at cornering at steady lighting characteristics, minimum power of drive, possibility of accurate return of system into nominal position at non control signal, improved lighting characteristics of system.
