Abstract RU 2020378 C1

FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: light diffuser has two-dimensional diffracting phase structure as light dispersion means. This structure operates in transmitted or reflected light. Depth of elements of transparent structure is equal to half optimal length of light wave divided by the value equal to difference in indices of refraction of media which fill adjacent volumes of structure elements which complete each other to full volume of the structure; depth of elements of reflecting structure is half the depth of elements of similar transparent structure; optimal length of light wave is defined by maximum magnitude of product of spectral density of radiation by spectral light efficiency, density of location of structure elements is defined by required chromaticity of colored figures visible in structure which are created by defracted light beams. Maximum density of location of structure elements is limited by permissible regular reduction up to zero of minimum distance between boundaries of elements of structure lying on outer surface of structure. Sun of areas of surfaces in depth of structure lying along location of elements shall not differ from sum of areas of outer surfaces parallel to the surface in depth of structure and completing them by more than twice.
