SUBSTANCE: device uses an amplitude-modulated radio pulse generator, acoustic radiator, hydroacoustic tube, series-connected acoustic receiver, first selective filter, amplitude detector, low-pass filter, phase-meter and indicator, second selective filter connected to the acoustic receiver and loaded into the amplitude meter and second input of the phase-meter, series-connected analog-switch, whose signal and control inputs are connected to the a.f. and pulse outputs of the radio pulse generator, amplifier and adder, whose second input is connected to the r.f. output of the radio pulse generator loaded into the acoustic radiator.
