FIELD: optical digital equipment. SUBSTANCE: to organize binary adding of like digits of codes of addends the optical bistable elements are used, which have threshold of operation to be equal to level of logic unit. Communication between the elements is performed by means of waveguide branches. The second stage of adding is used for adding with transfer signal from junior digit. The stage is identical to optical circuit of adding of digits of addends (of the first stage). EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 dwg
