FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves formation of residual magnetic flow on magnetic tape changing along the tape length. The flow is proportional to recording audio signal. This is made by movement of magnetic tape in magnetic field of recording head on whose winding pass summarized currents of recording audio signal and high frequency magnetic biasing. Method also involves separation of recording audio signal with a high frequency magnetic biasing current. With positive values of recording audio signal its interruption is provided within periods of time corresponding to positive values of high frequency magnetic biasing current. With negative values of recording audio signal it is interrupted within periods of time corresponding to negative values of high frequency magnetic biasing current. EFFECT: high standard of recording due to reduction of non-linear distortions, widened dynamic range. 1 dwg
