FIELD: conversion of voltage of one frequency to that of other frequency (involving its reduction or increase) to supply with power stabilized precision electric drive. SUBSTANCE: converter has two modulators 1,1, each being essentially bridge inverter 3.1, 3.2, and output transformer 4.1, 4.2. First output leads of modulators are connected to power input of quantizer 5 and its output, to input of demodulator 6 whose output functions as converter output. Supply voltage analyzers 7.1 and 7.2 are connected through their control outputs, to control inputs of phase-shift keyers 8.1 and 8.2, respectively, and through data outputs, to input of adder 9 whose output is connected to one of inputs of compensating divider 10 whose second input is connected to data output of control unit 11; data output of control unit 11 is also connected to input of zero code detector 12 whose output is connected to control input of voltage polarity shaper 13 and synchronizing output of control unit 11 is connected to control inputs of supply voltage analyzers 7.1, 7.2 and to input of voltage polarity shaper 13 whose output is connected to control electrodes of power switches of demodulator 6 and also to inputs of phase-shift keyers 8.1 and 8.2 whose outputs are connected to control electrodes of power switches of modulators 3.1 and 3.2, respectively. Output of master oscillator 14 is connected to input of control unit 11. Signal specifying output voltage frequency of AC converter is applied to input of master oscillator 14.
