FIELD: electrometallurgy, in particular, ore-smelting furnaces. SUBSTANCE: device has cartridges 1 and 2, in which clamping rings 3 with supporting ribs 4 are installed. Levers are connected with clamping rings through axles. The levers are interconnected by means of axles and tie-rod. Additionally connected with the levers through axles is a hydraulic cylinder consisting of shell 12 connected to one lever through an axle, rod 14 connected to the other lever through axle 10, as well as piston 15 and springs 16 arranged inside shell 12 of the hydraulic cylinder.
