FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: vaccine strains are those of fungi Trichophyton verrucosum F-939/410, Trichophyton mentagrophytes F-930/1032, Trichophyton equinum F-929/381, Trichophyton Sarkisovii 551/68, Microsporum canis F-928/1393, Microsporum canis var obesum F-727/1311, Microsporum canis var distortum F-728/120, and Microsporum gypseum F-729/59. The vaccine may be prepared as a mixture of the aforesaid strains. The cultures are homogenized in a solution containing 0.2-2.0% fermentative hydrolyzate of muscle albumen, 5-12% glucose, 0.1-1.2% yeast extract, and water. The content of microconidia is 40-120 mln/ml, and after a day or two days the vaccine is inactivated with tymersal (C9H9O2SNaHg) (1:10,000-1: 25,000) for a day or two days.
