FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus incorporates stationary casing 1 which houses frame and aerosol test chamber, both secured for rotational movement relative to casing longitudinal axis. Frame is made up by two discs 2 and 3 attached to one another in their peripheral portions by rods 4. Aerosol test chamber is made up by corrugated pipe 9 blanked off at its ends and securely fitted on frame rods by virtue of movable wheels 11. Rigid support rings 12 are disposed inside aerosol test chamber at apexes of large-diameter corrugations. Pivot 13 provided with at least one spring-loaded agitator is attached to casing inner wall. Agitator is made in the form of rod 14 carrying cross-bar 16 at its free end and fixed to pivot 13. Rod length falls within limits of , where L is rod length, R represents distance between frame to rod, r denotes distance from frame axis to support rings, and l stands for distance between frame axis to axis of rotation of agitator. Note that cross-bar length is greater than maximum distance between apexes of adjacent corrugations but less than or equal to maximum length of corrugated pipe.
