FIELD: manufacture of dies for sheet-metal stamping. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacture of female die in accordance with configuration of manufactured part, its thermal straightening and fastening on plate of die. Workpiece for male die is selected to be bigger than size of female die by 0.3-0.5 mm, and working part of male die is broached on opening of female die, after that it is thermally strengthened. This is followed by spaceless fixation of female and male dies and their attachment to plates of the die. Working surface of male die is subjected to etching in acid solution. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and operating efficiency in manufacture of working parts of die.
