METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING DISTANT-PILOTED FLYING VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: aviation technology. SUBSTANCE: method of controlling distant-piloted flying vehicles concludes in generating control moments of gas-dynamic tools of control in course, roll and pitch, as well as in change in traction vector of flying vehicle due to its turn in angle of attack and change in traction of carrying screw due to change in turns of motor. All control actions are performed correspondingly with deviations of current parameters of flight against preset parameters. Control system has jet steering engines in course 5, pitch 6 and roll 7 and electric motor 9 for controlling shutter of carburetor of piston engine of the flying vehicle. Blades of carrier screw 2 are rigidly mounted onto shaft 3 of piston engine 4. Operation of actuating mechanisms of control system is performed according to commands of control commands comparison and generation unit 12. Signals of parameters of flight are applied to input of unit 12. The signals are measured by attitude-and-heating reference system 14, speed of flight meter 15 and attitude meter 16. Preset values of these parameters are also applied to output from unit 13 for receiving preset modes of flight. EFFECT: improved reliability; reduced expenses. 2 cl, 3 dwg
