FIELD: aircraft industry. SUBSTANCE: method is based on transferring the fuel from each fuel tank by means of independently driven pumps observing the tank usage procedure. Fuel delivery pressure for each following tank group is set lower than fuel delivery pressure of previous tank group. Fuel system for implementation of this method has main fuselage tank 1 and groups of fuel tanks connected through fuel feed pipeline 2 and manifold with main tank. Manifold is made up of segments 27, each connected with one of fuel tanks. Fitted on end faces of segments are couplers 28. Manifold to deliver fuel from fuel tanks of previous group of use is connected to fuel delivery pipeline to main tank after check valve of fuel tank of subsequent group of use. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
