FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a vertical tank with widened upper part, circulation tubes arranged beyond the tank and coupled to the upper and lower parts of the latter, heat exchangers joined with the circulation tubes, and aeration device accommodated in the lower part of the tank. A circulation tube with holes arranged equidistantly along the height of its wall is placed inside the tank along the tank axis. Bent down baffle plates are secured above the holes on the inner side of the tube. Positioned on the outer side of the tube, in the circular space formed are auxiliary heat exchangers. The aeration device made as a ring arranged between the lower cut of the circulation tube and the lower outlet sections of the external circulation tubes is placed under the auxiliary heat exchangers. The external circulation tubes are arranged so that vacant space is formed between them and the tank bottom to facilitate the precipitation and gathering of sludge.
