FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vacuum controller has a body accommodating a hollow valve in plan the shape of a wedge with side walls and end walls coupled movably with the body by means of guides. A membrane is secured in the valve base. The valve is provided with pressure balancer and bellows with communicate with the valve space through a slotted channel and with the pressure balancer, by means of a tube. The bellows base is combined with the body. When the vacuum plant is turned on the air is sucked off. With pressure increasing, the membrane and the bellows become straightened, the valve is lowered, the side walls move aside, thereby reducing the clearance between the valve and the outlet branch pipe. As soon as pressure in the valve space and in the space of the body gets equal, the valve shuts off the vacuum inlet. Vacuum in the system is stabilized and maintained automatically within the preset limits by increasing or decreasing the passage of the sucked off air up to its complete shut-off and disconnection of the vacuum source from the controlled system. EFFECT: more efficient vacuum control. 2 dwg
