FIELD: stores. SUBSTANCE: device has uprights with steps from inner side with shelves turning axles. Shelves are bellcranks with load-bearing and counterweight arms. Counterweigth arms are exposed to action of load arranged in cell below the arm. Shelves are arranged on uprights in staggered order, i.e. in turn at front and rear sides. Stops provided on upright serve to fix shelves in operating position either horizontally or, as a version, at angle to horizontal. With racks being loaded from lower stage to upper one, shelves, acted upon by load, are automatically shifted from initial (vertical) position to operating (horizontal) position. With load removed, shelves return to initial (vertical) position. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
