FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: wave shutoff device is made of resilient tapes provided with tips connected by rope with lift of wave shutoff device which is mounted onto boards of chute. Damper is disposed above the wave shutoff device. The damper is made of central and side longitudinal tapes made of flexible cloth connected with their forward edges with lifts mounted onto boards of chute through elastic couplings. V-shaped ribs which have bend according to the stream mounted onto surfaces of the tapes turned one to another. There are narrow longitudinal channels between tapes of wave shutoff device and damper. EFFECT: improved efficiency, improved reliability of operation. 3 dwg
