FIELD: irrigation and water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: water raising pipe has several rows of bypass holes. Unit returning part of water to source of medium being pumped out has reservoir mounted coaxially relative to the pipe for motion along it between two stops. Return unit is provided with branch pipes which are perforated in top portion and are connected with bottom of reservoir whose upper portion is provided with water passing holes. One stop is made in form of hollow housing embracing the pipe in area where bypass holes are located and having holes for vertical motion of branch pipes in housing. Reservoir is spring-loaded relative to the housing. Other stop is made in form of covers located on lower ends of branch pipes outside the housing. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
