FIELD: in central discharge units of large- capacity mechanized filters and in other apparatus. SUBSTANCE: shut-off device is made in form of ball band arranged in housing and provided with two diametrically opposite parallel sections rigidly connected with hollow cylinder. Internal circular recess of trapezoidal form is made in housing. Recess is located at angle of 45 deg to level. Flexible chamber with working fluid supply and discharge branch pipes is mounted in this recess. Recess in oblong in form. Larger base of recess is made in form of semicircle at the end smoothly changing to lateral sides of trapezium. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 dwg
