MIXING PLANT FOR PREPARATION OF SOLUTIONS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas industry, geological prospecting, preparation of grouting mortar, drilling fluid and similar mixtures, buffer fluids, suspensions, emulsions etc used in pressure grouting of casing strings, in drilling and repair of oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: invention can also find use in construction industry and some other branches of industry. Mixing plant includes vehicle carrying mixer comprising two adjacent chambers with agitator located in each chamber, netted vessels and hopper for intake and accumulation of loose materials. Hopper is fitted with intake and distribution unit made in the form of tee-joint with three branch pipes. Inlet to first branch pipe is manufactured in the form of confuser and is equipped with shut-off element. Second branch pipe is placed uniaxially to first branch pipe and has blind bushing with sealing member. Third branch pipe is joined to hydraulic and pneumatic mixer and is fitted with governor for atmospheric air inlet. Shut-off element and blind bushing are located at certain distance one from another and are attached to rod. Upper end of rod passes through sealing unit in lid of hopper and is provided with stopping unit. Hopper and chambers with agitators are fitted correspondingly with indicators of level of loose materials and solution. Mixing plant secures simultaneous and sequential preparation of two types of solutions with specified adjustable density by way of controllable selection of oil well cements from hopper and simultaneous their replenishment thanks to maintenance of certain decreased pressure in hopper space and automatic prevention of excess of permissible value of vacuum in space of hopper and of its collapse by atmospheric pressure and by way of simultaneous crushing of bridges of loose materials from conical walls by atmospheric air coming into its space. EFFECT: provision for specified operational conditions, improved quality of pressure grouting of casing strings in oil and gas wells under various geological and technological conditions. 2 dwg
