FIELD: radioelectronic industry. SUBSTANCE: selection of frequency components of a received signal is performed by two sets of the frequency sections within the frequency band being analyzed. Each set overlaps the band of analysis. The medium frequencies of the sections with the same numbers of the sets coincide. In this case, the width of the sections of the first set exceeds that of the respective sections of the second set. A section with the maximum level of the frequency components is separated from the first set, and the phase difference of the frequency components selected in the sections of the first and second sets with a separated number is measured. Frequency mismatch of the signal frequency and of the medium frequency of the selected section is formed by means of the measured phase difference, and the received signal frequency is measured by adding the medium frequency of the separated section and the respective frequency mismatch. The latter is formed by decreasing the measured phase difference in proportion to the value of the phase-frequency characteristic slope in the selection circuit of the separated section of the first set.
