FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes preliminarily determining ratio between activity of alpha-glycerophosphatedehydrogenase and succinate-dehydrogenase of peripheral blood lymphocytes, starting treatment with mononucleatide riboflavin cocarboxylase, lipoic acid and calcium pantothenate (group 1) if this ratio proves smaller than 0.45, continuing cure using pyridoxalphosphate, folic acid, calcium pangamate and glutemic acid (group 2) to be taken in prescribed doses, repeating treatment in one month, terminating cure involving drugs of group 1 after expiry of same period, conducting cure at same intervals if ratio exceeds 0.6, discontinuing cure with drugs of groups 1 and 2 in consecutive order, and then treating patient by monochromatic stimuli in the form of reversing black-and-red alternate grids having wavelength of 633 nm, frequency of 5 to 11 Hz and total energy of 0,35 - 10^-3 J. Cure should include 8 to 10 procedures. EFFECT: promising results.
