FIELD: textile industry; spinning and twisting frames. SUBSTANCE: spun strand is given double twist by its rotation in balloon relative to axis of driven spindle, passing over its axial channel in direction to balloon top and subsequent removal from spindle axial channel. Formed monofilament yarn is wound on intermediate package on spindle head freely fitted on spindle and connected with it by means of clutch. Monofilament is arranged along intermediate package by a couple of coaxially installed in each other rings-reciprocating along spindle axis. Attached to inner ring is guide. After completion of formation of monofilament package, monofilament yarn is reeled on from it, and it is connected with spun strand in spindle axial channel, and they are twisted into cable yarn. Cable yarn is removed from spindle and wound on take-up package. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg
