FIELD: knitted fabric production. SUBSTANCE: heel socket is knitted from threads used in knitting hosiery instep. First thread is used for knitting loops of weft plain knit on the side of heel and item instep. Second and third threads on the heel side are used for knitting loops of weft plain knit; and on the side of instep, in even and odd loop wales, these threads are used for knitting lining structure. Second and third threads are used for knitting loops of weft plain knit on the side of heel with different number of loops in course. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
