FIELD: applicable in operation of wells and underground storage of gas, whose producing formations are constituted of loose poorly cemented rocks to control unchecked sand, production from formation and prevention of collapse of bottom-hole formation zone. SUBSTANCE: lowered into well on tubing is filter with device 5 installed above it, procedure is completed and operation is started under conditions of injection of gas into formation. Pusher 11 is installed in inner space of tubing into valve conical seat of device movable sleeve 8. Gravel from hopper is introduced into gas flow by means of mixer. To prevent clogging of body holes 6 with sand particles total area of holes should exceed cross-section area of tubing inner space. Gas sand mixture moves sleeve 8 with pusher 11 downward and body holes 6 open and mixture enters well bottom behind filter. Height of side surface of sleeve 8 is determined proceeding from condition D>h>l, where D is diameter of side surface 6 of body 5; h is height of side surface of sleeve 8; 1 is distance from edge of side hole 6 to lower place (end) of landing of sleeve 8. Gas is injected to producing formation under excessive pressure. Upon completion of gravel filling valve is withdrawn from seat of sleeve 8. The latter moves upward under action of spring 13 and closes holes 6 of body 5. Well operation is charged over to gas recovery from formation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
