FIELD: computer technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in design of encoders of normalization code in low-and high-capacity digital computers. Encoder has first and second decoders of boundary of zeroes, unit of encoding of direct code, additional comparator, unit of NOT gates, unit of AND gates and NOT-AND gate. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities thanks to coding of quantity of "senior" zeroes of binary code with allowance for sign of binary number presented by binary code with faster speed of response and smaller number of units. 4 dwg
